Julie Price serves as the Period of PURPLE Crying® program point of contact for the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with an emphasis on Education and is currently working toward her Masters of Management. Her work experience includes nineteen years in education, training and program management.

In addition to the National Portfolio, Julie oversees Utah's Period of PURPLE Crying® hospital-based program. She assists hospital administrators, education personnel and maternity services with nurse training and coordination of the SBS prevention and parent education program.

As the point person for the Period of PURPLE Crying® , Julie coodinates statewide and individual organization program implementation. She registers inquiries for previews, administers online training, accepts orders and processes to distribution, and serves as a resource for ongoing support. Julie also seeks opportunities to educate and answer inquiries about the Period of PURPLE Crying® program. Julie presents nationally and internationally at invited conferences, meetings and organizations.
