Doris Duke Charitable Foundation In 2004, awarded a $1.2 million grant to conduct research on the SBS prevention program, the Period of PURPLE Crying?, to the NCSBS and their partners; Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center, University of Washington Center for Community Child Health Research, University of British Columbia, and University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health. In 2007, awarded a $2 million grant to fund a 5-year research project in North Carolina to test the effects of the Period of PURPLE Crying? program. |
