Nan Streeter is the former Deputy Division Director of Family Health and Preparedness of the Utah Department of Health overseeing public health and clinical programs for mothers and children, including those with special health care needs and their families. Nan worked for the Department for 25 years in maternal and child health in various capacities.

Nan’s career has focused on mothers and children in clinical, volunteer and public health roles since 1973. Nan graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and from the University of Utah with a Master of Science degree in child nursing.

Nan has served on a number of state and national expert workgroups/panels related to maternal and child health and served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs in Washington, D.C.
